Size does matter!

One thing about Ireland is that your bag, backpack, whatever you carry around for ur stuff, can never be big enough. It can NEVER be BIG enough but in Ireland especially.

Imagine getting ready in the morning. Hairbrush, compact, lip gloss, keys, you know just the usual, land on the bottom of your handbag. Then comes the umbrella (every day essential), sunglasses, spare cardigan, tshirt for change, flat shoes for unexpected after work run around town. You might need it all at the same time as its not unusual to get rain, sun, hailstones, all at the same town. Im surprised the government doesn’t organize compulsory training for visitors arriving for the first time, on how to hold your umbrella, hat, and bag all at the same time. The umbrella wont make the first rain storm so i just buy cheap, easily replaceable one as i will need new one by the end of the day.

God help you if your going clubbing on Friday night, and work toilet is your walk in wardrobe! Stilletos, glitsy make up all in, good choice is then shortest possible dress that could fit in front pocket of your bag.

How come nobody came up with the recipe Mary Poppins bag??? I ve mastered packing for holidays to perfection now that my every day packing for work looks like preparing survival kit! I ve discovered that for weekend away i can pack in just under 20 min. Bring it on! I honestly wish sometimes i was dude. Wallet, keys, lighter, out the door. And then they come crying to you for plasters/sawing kit/scissors etc. (In staff canteen they will make comment behind your back about being some sick psycho for carrying the stuff around, but deep inside they thank from all the guts, that you saved them from exposing Sponge Bob undies through the rip in their pants).

Are we being honestly so fucking paranoid that the world will send us seven plagues at once and we carry all weapons that we can use to fight them? Or are we just comforting ourselves by being ready for every occasion? But then again all those lovely handbags out there come in xxl size…And we will kill their soul if we didnt stuff precisely every inch of it.

God bless us females and our choices! Ah we are only to blame ourselves. How many of you had the choice of nice satchel but went for the ridiculous weekend away size bag?? How many? Yeah i hear you. Im one of you! I think thats the rare moment where size DOES actually matter! Big bags have the effect on me! They know my weakness and they scream at me from shop shelve..I can here the whisper:”Take me home”, ”I will love you always”, ”You are the best looking girl out there.I want to be yours!”  Ah damn it!!! Can you pack this one for me please?

Now where the hell are my keys??????????
